How do issues such as authorship, copyright and open access impact your desire, ability and willingness to engage in produsage, both personally and professionally?
Authorship, copyright, and open access don't play a negative role in my desire, ability, or willingness to participate in produsage. I'm not worried about someone else taking my content and passing it off as their own. Anything that I might worry about, I probably wouldn't put online. However, for the most part, I'm just happy to help someone else out - hopefully they can learn something from my work and maybe I can learn something from them in return. By collaborating (even asynchronously and maybe not on purpose), a community of members can generate some pretty cool things like this. Just like they say... two heads are better than one!
The Polymath Project is WAY cool! Excellent example of innovative and creative collaboration.
